I read that one of the keys to being successful when it comes to real estate marketing is having a stellar website to showcase what you offer and making it more personal.
A person shopping for a house wants to connect on some level with the person that will be taking them around and showing them options. They don't want to feel rushed or unimportant.
Do you have a professional website for your real estate work?
I do not, but the realtor company I work for, has their own site with profiles on their realtors. We also have a section for all the houses/lots we have for sale. I have considered making my own site, but I don't usually see a point when we already have a site for all of us. But, if you're selling houses on your own and aren't part of a realtor company, sure, you could start your own site. Probably a good idea to do that actually.
Not at this time, but I am looking into hiring someone to make me one soon. Just not sure on when that will be. I have some ideas drafted up. I'm also considering starting my own real estate company soon, so that will for sure include a website eventually.
I do but it needs to be updated. I am one of those guys who offers a lot of services so I have several websites but most of them are outdated. I need to hire someone to fix them up and make them more modern since most people these days browse on their phones.
JamesP - Have you considered shopping around for that now? From what I understand, freelance jobs like that where you hire someone online are cheaper because more people are offering those services right now. Might be a good time to hop on to some of the savings and get things updated.
I have a family friend who designed my website and it looks very professional.
He used WordPress which is really easy to navigate and respond to queries. I'm also thinking about offering a live chat service.
