I have not sold anything quite like a hotel or motel before, but I suppose it wouldn't be tough considering I sold an old church once. It was a small church though, but had history in the area. It's still a church to this day. I wanted to make sure it stayed a church at least.
We don't have many in my area so I highly doubt I will ever get experience with this unless my wife and I decide to move more north. We live in a very country-like area that has a lot of open land and farms.
I wouldn't know where to begin with something like this. I would consider buying one to rent out because I would buy to just flip and sell. It is hard to get into this market unless you live in an area where it is popular for people to use them.
I was set to sell one but another agent got it. I am still new to selling homes and general properties. I would love to some day work with bigger buildings like this.
They are way out of my league! I have no idea what the main selling points of a hotel or motel are. I just stick to smaller homes.
I'd like to hear any stories or tips from anyone who has, though.
